Alena Grach, a talented young Slovak singer, has established herself as a very promising mezzo-soprano in the world of opera and oratorio repertoire. With her vocal abilities and captivating stage presence, she has captured the attention of audiences and critics alike.

Recently, she performed as the Second Water Nymph in Dvořák's Rusalka at the National Theatre of Prague under the baton of Maestro Tomáš Netopil. She also portrayed Lola in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana at the State Opera Prague under its Chief Conductor Andry Yurkevich.

At the Slovak National Theatre, she recently sang in Dvořák's Čert a Káča, in Suchoň's Svätopluk, and as the Third Water Nymph in Dvořák's "Rusalka". Additionally, at the State Opera in Košice, she performed as Emilia in Verdi's "Otello" and as Dalila in Saint-Saëns' "Samson et Dalila".

Since her debut performance at the State Opera in Banská Bystrica in 2013, Alena has embarked on an impressive journey, portraying various captivating roles on stages across Slovakia and the Czech Republic. From Tchaikovsky's Olga in "Eugene Onegin" in Opava to Mascagni's Lola in "Cavalleria rusticana" at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava and Prague State Opera, her versatility and ability to breathe life into diverse characters have garnered her acclaim. She has also performed as Mozart's Sesto in "La clemenza di Tito" in Ostrava, and as Puccini's Ciesca in "Gianni Schicchi" at the Slovak National Theatre, among other roles.

Not limited to her operatic repertoire, Alena has mesmerized audiences as a concert soloist with esteemed orchestras such as the Czech Philharmonic, Slovak Philharmonic, the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, National Chamber Orchestra of Žilina, the State Philharmonic Košice, and the South Bohemia Philharmonic in České Budějovice.

Highlighting her international presence, she successfully toured Japan with the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. In the 2018/19 season, Alena also appeared at music festivals such as Smetana's Litomyšl, where she had the privilege of sharing the stage with the prestigious Czech Philharmonic, conducted by the acclaimed Jakub Hrůša, the Saint Wenceslas Music Festival in Ostrava, Convergence International Chamber Music Festival in Bratislava, and the Autumn Festival of Sacred Music in Olomouc.

Alena's passion for music led her to pursue her education at the Bratislava Conservatory and the renowned Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Notably, she achieved success by advancing to the semi-finals at the esteemed Hans Gabor Belvedere competition in Jurmala, Latvia in June 2018.
